The overarching theme of my Art works is the relation of the physical and philosophical human
being in a natural or transformed nature. Being thrown into this world of physical appearance and ideas, the self is confronted with ugliness and beauty.
Everything is layers. Palimpsest. Life consists of layers ... of thoughts, of phases, of dances, of incidents and emotions being overwritten again and again. There are key sujets to be found in
my work, which are being processed over and over.
It is always only stages of Art works. These can be revised several times.
Themes like security or being at the mercy of nature. Hubris, violence, devotion, hope.
