On sujets

The overarching theme of the Art works is the relation of the physical and philosophical human being in a natural or transformed nature. Being thrown into this world of physical appearance and ideas, the self is confronted with ugliness and beauty.
Everything is layers. Palimpsest. Life constitutes of layers, of thoughts, of phases, of dances, of incidences and emotions being overwritten again and again. There are key sujets to be found in my work, which are being processed over and over again.
It is always only stages of Art works. These can be revised several times.

Themes like security or being at the mercy of nature. Hubris, violence, devotion, hope.
